This well known Shorthorn bullock, bred and exhibited during the last few years by Mr W.F.M. Buckley, of Dunsandel, was recently killed, and the net dressed weight was 1968 lbs, and he is believed to be the heaviest bullock ever killed in the colony. He was rising seven years of age, and since he was shown as a three-year-old has only once been beaten for first place, having won prizes at the Canterbury Metropolitan and Winter Shows and the Dunedin Winter Show.
