This window features Miram and Deborah two important women of the Old Testament. Both are credited with a song praising the Lord.
Miraim was the sister of Moses and Aaron and a prophetess. She is shown as described in the Old Testament: Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing" (Exodus 15:19).
Deborah was a phrophetess, poet and the fourth Judge of Israel. She is the author of the Song of Deborah. (Judges 5) "Hear, O kings! Give ear, O princes! I, even I, will sing to the Lord; I will sing praise to the Lord God of Israel.
