History of the House used as the Darfield Medical Centre

This house was built in 1914, not 1948, as stated in your article.

It was built by Mr Bert Moffatt of Kirwee for Mr Alf Holland to house his new bride.

I am their youngest son and lived there from 1926 until 1941 when Dad retired and sold the house to Mr Ray Anderson. It was bought by Dr Warwick Andrews around 1950 who added the first part of the present consulting rooms (now the office).

Dr Dennis Eason bought the practice and the house in 1958 and eventually sold it to the then Malvern County Council.
